Fencing is the sport of swordplay, and it’s been around for thousands of years. There are paintings of people swordfighting on the walls of ancient Egyptian temples.

To begin with, fencing was a way of training soldiers to fight; later it became popular as a “gentleman’s sport”, and nowadays it’s a competitive team sport that anyone can have a go at.

Skiing and Snowboarding are two of the most awesome winter sports. Skiing has been around for thousands of years - back in the day they even had wooden skis. Today's gear however is quite a bit more advanced than from back then - with light weight skis and boards, and comfortable boots, not to mention the huge variety of artistic designs.
