Jandals just immediately bring to mind good old Kiwi summer holidays with plenty of BBQs, fun at the beach and of course the Surf Lifeguards. Where would we be without the NZ Surf Lifeguards doing an awesome job at keeping our beaches safe for summer fun?
Did you know that NZ has 15,000kms of coastline and that last year over 1,680 lives were saved by Surf Lifeguards?
Though NZ's drowning rate is twice that of Austraila's – pretty scary.
Surf Life Saving needs your help to bring this figure down!

When your in hospital sometimes it's hard to find a means to talk to the people you know. It can be a tough time. But with the help of some charities and with a little bit of technological wizardy things are getting easier!
Starship Children's Health is one of New Zealands biggest healthcare providers. - Microsoft NZ are working alongside the Starship Hospital in Auckland helping those kids stuck in hospital have a better time of it by donating some awesome gear to their teen lounge. |
