Viva Pinata: Party Animals (pg 1) |

The game starts quickly, you choose a pinata and set how many mini-games you want the series to go on for. The most common of these mini-games is the foot race, which takes place when you're sprinting from one location of events to the next (usually every 3 games or so).

The events are kind of crazy, but a lot of them are things we've been introduced to before in many a party game. There's a dancing game where you're prompted to press buttons over a music beat, in order to out-dance your opponents. The racing we mentioned before has a whole arsenal of power-ups like butterfly wings to fly over everything, honey slicks to falter the other racers, and speed boosting.
Note: When the horse pinata gets the speed boost, he runs on his hind legs. The idea of him running faster on two legs instead of four tickled us.
