It’s going to be a Monster! On Saturday April 26th the Wellington Waterfront will be transformed for the inaugural Vodafone Homegrown festival.
It is a 15+ event so if you are under 15 you will need to be accompained by a legitimate guardian, and Children 5 & under are free.
The DJ's will be rocking the Capital from 12:30pm to 11:00pm.
It SOLD OUT 3 weeks before so is shaping up to be the mother of all summer gigs!
Vodafone Homegrown will feature 5 stages set along the waterfront with 35 of the best Rock, Pop, Indie, Dub, Roots and Dance acts our fair country has to offer.

If you have any doubts about what’s in store, here’s a taste of who is playing; Shihad, The Black Seeds, Pluto, The Mint Chicks, The Checks, OpShop, The Feelers, Goodnight Nurse, Motocade, Kora, Salmonella Dub, Concord Dawn, Ladi 6, Dick Johnson, Minuit, Tiki and The Phoenix Foundation.
In true Wellington fashion expect a festival playground oozing culture and overflowing with peripheral entertainment, interactive activities, International food, art installations, street performers and loads of free stuff.
There will also be a merch tent for the bands so if you like something you hear, you can buy it right then and there.
