Any fans of the first Fable will be jumping for joy when they hear that "Fable II for Xbox 360 has just received an NZ release date". 23rd of October '08. In this article we cover the title's NZ Xbox 360 release, the Xbox LIVE Fable mini-games and the Limited Collectors Edition content.
Oh and by the way hubsters, this game is rated "M", meaning you need to be at least 15 years old for this one. |

First of for those new to the Fable series: You take on the role of a growing hero in a completely open world where you choose to do bad or good, but there's always a result to what you do, so choose wisely. In Fable II you're accompanied by your dog, who loyally helps you as you explore the fantasy world of Albion, your dog will even help you fight off enemies. With the new combat system, the game is easily played by both casual and hardcore gamers (or both at the same time with co-op mode). |

Cool, now that that's out of the way: So Fable II will be here on 23 October, but it will also be available as the Limited Collectors Edition, consisting of:
-A Bonus DVD: "The Making of Fable II" and concept art.
-Bonus In-Game Content: Hall of the Dead dungeon, The Wreckager Legendary cutlass, Otherworldly bonus.
-Collectible Hobbe figure & accessories.
-48 Hour LIVE Gold Trial Card
-5 Printed Fate Cards.

Not to mention that if you want your character to have lots of gold from the get-go, then you can hop on to Xbox LIVE and play the new minigames that will be available tomorrow (13th Aug). "Fortunes Tower", "Keystone" and "Spinnerbox" are the three little games that you can use to win gold, then transfer them to your character once you get Fable II in October. The minigames are 800 Microsoft points each.
So there you have it guys, it's going to be a good October indeed.
