Mission-On 2 Town No. 4: Waiheke Island!
Waiheke Island is like a little slice of paradise, only 35 minutes away from Auckland by ferry. With beautiful scenery, warm weather and a sense of isolation from the rest of Auckland, Waiheke island is a popular getaway spot for holiday makers. Home to 8000 people, Waiheke is also the 3rd most populated island in New Zealand (after the North and South)!

Towns across New Zealand each featured over a whole week
of Studio 2! We met the locals, found out about the history of
the area, and got involved in some local activities! When 'Mission On - 2Town'
rolled through each town, 8 kids got the chance to represent their
town in some sporting challenges, with their efforts combining to
create an overall score on the '2Town' leaderboard!
