Daffodil Day

Daffodil Day

Cancer affects 1 in 3 New Zealanders and the impact can be huge. With a small gesture, you can make a big difference.

Daffodil Day began in 1990, and it is the Cancer Society's main fundraising event - it's vital as they receive no government funding!

Money raised goes to provide support services to cancer patients and their families, fund cancer research and provide education on reducing cancer risk for all New Zealanders.

Daffodil Day is the symbol of hope for those affected by cancer. By planting your own daffodil on the Growing Hope website, you can help New Zealanders fight back - and help the Cancer Society reduce the incidence and impact of this disease.

To plant your daffodil, just go to www.growinghope.org.nz and make a donation to Daffodil Day. Your donation helps fund Cancer Society work in the region you plant it in.
