These little e-bugs are known as the I-SWARM (Small-World Autonomous Robots for Micro-manipulation, OBVIOUSLY). They have three tiny legs and a small rod at the front to bite you and move things about with. They're cheap, and are meant to be bought in groups so they can... uh... clean your room one speckle of dust at a time?

They look pretty neat (and gross), and apparently can be used for spying too. Just don't freak out like I did then smack one of them with the spatula/fly swatter that magically appeared next to you.
