PC modding... it's an obsession for those who have the will, the skill, the time and the money. You may have seen PCs in retail stores that have perspex windows cut into the side. That's an influence from case modding, where geeks who take their PCs to LAN gamefests wanted to show off the components inside the case without having to take the side off. The folks at Aussie mag 'Atomic ' are particularly supportive of the modding community.

Just take a look at the computer Atomic have called 'The Supreme Commander'... it was recently given away as first prize in a competition.
Atomic enlisted the services of THQ, Samsung, Nintek and Defyant to put together this ultimate gaming rig that also features a watercooled overclocked CPU.
The winner not only took home the Defyant-modded PC, but two Samsung LCD monitors!
Cheers to Atomic for supporting the enthusiast PC community. The magazine also features a monthly 'HotBox' modding competition, and articles and tutorials on how to customize your PC.
