TRYING OUT UNITY GAME SOFTWARE

Have you ever wanted to build a computer game, but thought you'd need to get a job as a software developer just to be able to do it? So did we... then we came across UNITY!

21.03.10 - UNITY is a PC/Mac game development tool, and best of all, it's FREE! (although there are Pro versions for sale as well). You can build anything from simple arcade games to complex FPS games, and publish them to the web or as a game file on PC and Mac!

How did we do it? We downloaded UNITY, and imported a 3D hub logo. Then we built the terrain and painted it with trees and plants that we got from the UNITY website. We used an included FPS character, and added a bouncy ball to push around. Everything in UNITY is controlled by scripts, so we got the push script we needed from the UNITY site too!
