Yachting
  • Alinghi Bounced back with another win equaling NewZealands 2wins. The fifth race out of possible nine it set to take place on Saturday @ 1am - leaving one team closer to the 156-year-old trophy.
Netball
  • The Southern Sting won the last ever National Bank Cup against the Northern Force.Which is to be replaced by the Tasman Trophy, set to get under way in April 2008.
Rugby
  • In the 2007 Tri-Nations on the 23rd June, New Zealand had a 26-21 win over South Affrica. And are set to play Australia this Saturday 30th June in Sydney.
Football
  • The New Zealand A-league have added another Brazilian player (29 year old Cleberson Souza Santos Gois) to the team. Coach Wayne O'Sulivan saying it 'will add another dimension to the team'.
Basketball
  • The New Zealand based womams NBL have got their official name 'The Christchurch Sirens'. The Tall blacks next game is the 20th July against Venezuela in Napier.
    Also in the NZBL 2007 final series the Hawks play the Nelson Giants in Napier tonight 29th June and also on 30th June.
Rowing
  • New Zealand Rowers have done awesomely at the World Cup in Amsterdam getting 3 gold and 3 silvers.
