If anything, their increasingly classic take will be more inviting for those other than the kids, and ensure that the venue will be jammed and jumping." - Scott Kara

Infinity on High is Fall Out Boy's fourth studio album, released in 2007. It is the follow up to 2005's From Under the Cork Tree. The album sold 260,000 copies in its debut week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Patrick Stump's rich, versatile voice perfectly fits the band's shift from power-punk one minute to nu-metal the next, along with dollops of soul, gospel and balladry.

Everything comes together on the hit single "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" one of the wittiest, catchiest and funkiest slices of frenetic American power-pop in ages, further enhanced by a great music video." - TOM CARDY

Fall Out Boy is a pop punk band from Wilmette, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago, Illinois) that formed in 2001. The band consists of Patrick Stump (lead vocals, guitar), Pete Wentz (bass, backup vocalist, and primary lyricist), Joe Trohman (lead guitar), and Andy Hurley (drums).
"The title is taken from a letter written by van Gogh to his brother Theo in 1888, in which he describes his renewed health and the vigor it has instilled in his painting. Van Gogh's exact phrasing has been translated as both "Be clearly aware of the stars and infinity on high. Then life seems almost enchanted after all," and "And all the same to feel the stars and the infinite high and clear above you. Then life is almost enchanted after all." -
