Set for 2008 on PS3, isn't it cool when a fun little game comes along that everyone can enjoy? This is one of them, let's have a look-see...
|

Really cool looking environments to run around in. |
LittleBigPlanet is mostly an online community, a world if you like. Each player has a patch of land that is their own, and inside that patch of land you make stages that people all over the world can come visit, or you can go out and visit levels other people have made. Though there are also single player capabilities.
|

Customise your little dudes, you can even make an astronaut! |
The levels are set on a 2D-side-scrolling panel. Players control these cute, little “rag-dolls”, and use a large menu of objects and doo-hickeys to act as obstacles in a stage. You can grow, shrink, erase parts of and duplicate items to make any kind of world that you want, and then explore it. The levels can be made within a matter of minutes or can reach out to hours. It just depends on what you want.

S'more eye-candy for you. |
The graphics are very nice, the backgrounds are detailed, unless you decide to play on the white-background level... which's just... white. The characters and obstacles you have control over are also detailed but very cutesy. The items you use also have a set theme that goes alongside the background you choose... such as the plain white theme, a graveyard, a garden, and more.
|

*Awwwwww* |
The graphics are very fluid, such as opening menus that look very smoothly animated and also a very nice motion blur over everything that happens, but not too much that it looks like you're peeking through a bad pair of glasses. There are also realistic physics, so that if you drop a ball from a height, it'll fall and bounce of any object, which will knock that object around.
|

Mmmmmm... Motion blurs. |
The gameplay is going to be everlasting. Picture it: You make your own levels, if you don't want to do that then you can go onto the huge online community and visit other peoples patches of land in the LittleBigPlanet world... the game has a slim chance of being boring, unless you're one of those people who thinks exciting is boring.
In that case, this game will bore you silly. Check out Hub Talk by clicking the link below, and there'll be a video or two for you to see!
