There's a little more to this game than flipping and throwing blocks around, you have to pick them up too, like... Woah.... But seriously, PQ2: Practical Intelligence Quotient for PSP looks like a promising game!

"Nggrrrrrr!"

The basic premise of PQ2 is that you have to get from start to finish of each level, but nobody said it'd be easy. There'll be walls, lasers, chasms and who-knows-what-else that'll try to stop you from reaching your goal. Using your wit, strategy, and hopefully no online walkthroughs, you must overcome these blockades. You do this by moving your character around, and lifting, shoving and basically messing with blocks to use as stairs or to use as shields against deadly lasers.

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh crud..."

To top it off, you have to do this with 100 levels, and in the span of 5 hours. Yep, time limit. But don't worry, you don't “fail” the game if you can't beat it in 5 hours, you just get points deducted towards your final score. Why is the final score important? You'll see, later though...

We don't really know what they do, either...

The graphics in PQ2 are a great help. Most things, if not all, are vibrantly coloured so that you can see what thing is what. For example, you have a yellow box and a yellow switch... so ifyou press the pretty yellow button then you know the yellow box is going to do something. It also helps with different kinds of boxes... like glass ones that break if you're not careful, solid ones that are just standard and tough, or some that have the ability to 'grow' like a lift when you hit the 'pretty coloured button' mentioned earlier.

Dude, The goal is BEHIND you.

Now then, “why is the final score important?” Well, PQ2 also allows you to go online to submit your score with all the other gamers around the world. But along with the online feature comes the ability to download new levels directly from the game developers every week, and you can even make your own stages. With that, you can also download fan-made levels. This says that the game should never get boring.

Note to self: Glass does not stop deadly lasers.

So there you have it, PQ2: Practical Intelligence Quotient has a lot of stuff, and will keep making more. It looks like a fun puzzle game that has a bright future... and really, stacking boxes never looked so fun!
