So This looks interesting, the Balance board is the controller that turns your living room into a fun fitness centre, by placing it on the floor and standing on it, using it to balance etc. Much like how Wii Sports and the Wii remote made it safer |
to serve in tennis or bowl a bowling ball in the living room, Wii Fit makes it safe to do ski jumping, heading soccer balls and more - in the living room.
(The last time we tried to ski jump there, it didn't end well).
| The body's overall balance on the board (leaning left to right or not staying still etc) are used to block soccer balls, swivel hoops around your hips and hold the required yoga pose in order to pass a test and move on to the next event. Every time you complete a test, your Body Mass Index (BMI) is measured: That's something that |
assesses your height compared to your weight, used to measure how healthy you are. Your Wii Fit age is also measured, for a similar purpose.
There are over 40 types of training activities in the game, and some of them look real cool. If your parents have a look into the list of events... they might find that yoga or the 10 minute Aerobic exercises might take their fancy too!
We hope to have more on this soon, see ya!
